openfoam for windows.
 
Dear All,

this is my first time with open foam...i have all my meshing in gambit.

I wish to export to openfoam and process it then post processing.

can anyone please guide me, as i have no idea how to proceed.

1- export as .msh file
2- put it in your test case directory
3-use fluentMeshToFoam or fluent3DMeshToFoam commandto import it
4-assign appropriate BC to it
5-run your solver

look at elbow test case in tutorials/incompressible/icoFoam/elbow

I had read this a lot of places , but i do not understand what directory you meant... is it the open foam console?

as i told before look at elbow test case, look where elbow.msh has been put :D

i found all test cases for linux...

None of them work for my windows openfoam..
