Hi,
How to set BC's for lid driven cavity problem if i use rhoPisoFoam Solver for compressible flows.

Hi,

i think you shouldn't. but may be there are some parameters you must add. you can see tutorial case on pisoFoam to know what you needd to chnage.

which solver is suitable for heated plate lid driven cavity for compressible flows, and how to set BC's for the above problem.

Hi,

the situation is different now, you need to add heat transfer to the case, there is a modified icoFoam deals with you case.

i did it before and it worked well.

sorry for the incomplete problem description, here i am giving proper description,
the cavity is 2D, fluid is Air with T0 = 291.789, p0= 101.325 kpa is filled in this cavity. Re =100 for a Mach number of 0.001.
I have to solve the above problem with rhoPisoFoam or rhoSimple Foam. or any suggestions.
how to set BC's if i use rhoPisoFoam.

do you mean that you want to study flow around the cavity?

i think so as you mentioned Mach number.
