Hi,

which solver is suitable for heated plate lid driven cavity for compressible flows, and how to set BC's for the above problem.

thanks for the reply,
sorry for the incomplete problem description, here i am giving proper description, the cavity is 2D, fluid is Air with T0 = 291.789, p0= 101.325 kpa is filled in this cavity. Re =100 for a Mach number of 0.001. I have to solve the above problem with rhoPisoFoam or rhoSimple Foam. or any suggestions. how to set BC's if i use rhoPisoFoam. thanks in advance Last edited by nsreddysrsit; December 24, 2012 at 21:25. |
