in parallel (massflow on a faceZone)?

Hi Foamers!

Does swak4Foam work in parallel? I would like to sample the massflow on an internal faceZone, which is distributed on several processors!

Has anyone of you done it so far and like to share his/her experiences?

Cheers
Peter

In general yes. The parts that I KNOW that they are not parallel usually fail with an error

That should work with the latest release (Previous releases had problems with faceZones). The main problem could be that faces that are on a processor boundary could be counted twice (or not at all)

To convince yourself that it works have a look at the Examples/other/angledDuctImplicit case and the entries flowBeforeZone and flowAfterZone. Run the case in serial and parallel and see if the numbers are the same
