codinging is on a distinguished road
Dear foamers,

Can someone tell me the definition of maximum-norm, 1-norm and 2-norm for a vector field in CFD?

In my idea,
maximum-norm is the maximum deviation as max{|u-u0|}
1-norm is the average deviation as sum{|u-u0|}/n
2-norm is the root mean square deviation as {sum{|u-u0|^2}/n}^(1/2)
where u0 is the reference analytical solution, |x| is the magnitude of the vector x.

Thanks.
