div(phi,U) scheme

Hi everybody,

I'm simulating a flow in a nozzle with shocks with sonicFoam. I take the fvScheme from tutorial cases and I had some questions about it.
For all the terms in the ras case, it uses TVD scheme (limitedLinear) but in the laminar case, for the div(phi,U) term, it uses upwind scheme.
Is there any reason?
When I simulated my inviscid case for the nozzle, I tried to use limitedLinear for the div(phi,U) term but it gave me a worse solution than with upwind.
I've tried to understand why but didn't find any informations.

Thank you for your help.
