Can solidParticle trap the particle in the computation domain?

Hi Foamers

Recently I used the solidParticle class in OF-1.7.1 to track the particle movement in the fluid flow. But I found there are always some particles that are trapped on the wall. Please see the attached fig. On the left of Fig.1 is the inlet. Most of the particles are collected on the outlet and only one is trapped on the wall patch in Fig.1. The mesh and trapped particle is on Fig.2. I am wondering whether it is correct. For example if I release 100 particles at the inlet, should I collect 100 particles at the outlet if there are no collision model in the solver. Also the friction coefficient is set to 0 and restitution coefficient is set to 1. When a particle bumps on the wall, it should be reflected back and won't be trapped in the computation domain. Am I right? Could you please help it is due tot he code or the mesh quality?

Thanks
