Can I model (and how) the wind effects on a surface water of an open sedimentation tank? Can I also see the wind effects on the sedimentation process?

Wind transfers both stress (Reynolds and shear) and velocity to the water surface. Think of it as a kind of Robin Boundary Condition. And no, I'm not aware of a "wall" model that would allow for that
