Hi everybody,

I want to ask maybe some simple question for you. I am studying modeling of cavitation inside of nozzle therefore i am using cavitatingFoam solver. Inside of this solver it is used kwSST turbulence model as template. So now i want to change it to the RNGkepsilon model. But i couldnt find any example about RNGkepsilon model to set the 0 folder.

Someone can help me about this? how I can set inlet, outlet and walls for k, epsilon and if there is any required file in the 0 folder?

another question is that cavitatingFoam is compressible solver, however when i checked the template of kwSST turbulence model which incompressible. so can someone explain that how can we decide the turbulence model whether should be compressible or ncompressible and what is the role of the solver? I mean that if the solver is compressible, turbulence model also should be compressible or solver doesnt effect this???

thanks in advance.

Hi George,

In reply to the PM you sent me, I did saw this post of yours on this topic earlier today. But it's a rather complicated topic and my level of experience on this particular topic is very little.
The best I can say is to advise you to look at the tutorials at "multiphase/cavitatingFoam" and "multiphase/interPhaseChangeFoam/cavitatingBullet".

Good luck! Best regards,
Bruno
