wave generation on open foam ?

Good morning

My thesis focuses on the modelling of breaking waves using the LES (Large Eddy Simulation), to make I chose: OpenFoam. :)

So first before attacking my project, I must start by simulating the wave in a channel, of course always on OpenFoam, and as I'm new here and I do not have enough knowledge with this code , I BLOCKED ! :(

So please, I'm looking for someone who could help me and tell me step by step how to introduce waves on OpenFoam, and establish my simulation.:confused::confused:
Please, help me, it's urgent!

Thank you in advance.

Hi there, i may suggest to install waves2foam.
Its a nice plugging how save a lot of hour.
But for the wave breaking (because i don't study it) you should search some information on

Have a good Foaming
