Grooved Surface Simulation -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

abdollahi New Member abdollahi Join Date: Nov 2012 Posts: 16 Rep Power: 13	Hello I simulated three kinds of surfaces with OpenFoam software and InterFoam solver as smooth, with rectangular grooves and triangular grooves. The software solved the problems with smooth and rectangular grooves surfaces easily. But it could not able to solve the surface with triangular grooves. All conditions were similar, while the third problem diverged after a few steps. I refined mesh with snappy hex mesh. Should I change any parameters in controlDict or other parts? Thanks in Advance
