hello friends,

I am new to openfoam. I want to solve transient heat conduction in composite wall (two material thermal properties) with mixed boundary condition (Transient model).

any help?

thanks

You can try with : chtMultiRegionFoam

but can chtMultiRegion solve convection boundary without introducing the fluid in the model??

and, do you ve a solved problem on this solver for solid regions only?

thanks

You can impose the convection boundary condition by using groovyBC easily. For using the chtMultiRegionFoam for solid heat transfers only, you can switch off the momentum equation.

Cheers,
