'rhoPimpleFoam' and polynomialTransport in OpenFOAM
Hi,
I would like to use temperature varying properties for viscosity and thermal conductivity while assuming the fluid to be an ideal gas. I am using the compressible 'rhoPimpleFoam' as the solver. I wonder if we can do that ! I tried it and it gave the following error: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Selecting thermodynamics package hPsiThermo<pureMixture<polynomialTransport<specieT hermo<hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> --> FOAM FATAL ERROR: Unknown basicPsiThermo type hPsiThermo<pureMixture<polynomialTransport<specieT hermo<hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> Valid basicPsiThermo types are: 11 ( ePsiThermo<pureMixture<constTransport<specieThermo <eConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> ePsiThermo<pureMixture<constTransport<specieThermo <hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> ePsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specieT hermo<eConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> ePsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specieT hermo<hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> ePsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specieT hermo<janafThermo<perfectGas>>>>> hPsiThermo<pureMixture<constTransport<specieThermo <hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> hPsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specieT hermo<hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> hPsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specieT hermo<janafThermo<perfectGas>>>>> hsPsiThermo<pureMixture<constTransport<specieTherm o<hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> hsPsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specie Thermo<hConstThermo<perfectGas>>>>> hsPsiThermo<pureMixture<sutherlandTransport<specie Thermo<janafThermo<perfectGas>>>>> ) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It seems polynomial temperature varying properties for viscosity and thermal conductivity simultaneously is not an option ! Is there a way I can do that ! Thanks much for all the help. Sagnik |
sutherlandTransport !
Or is it possible to use 'sutherlandTransport' equations for both viscosity and thermal conductivity in the same problem setup ! Then I can use temperature varying properties for both provided I am able to do a good fit for thermal conductivity !
