OpenFOAM workshop 2014 slides at http://sourceforge.net/projects/openfoam-extend/file

Hello,

the RSS feed of http://sourceforge.net/projects/openfoam-extend/ (http://sourceforge.net/p/openfoam-extend/activity/feed) shows that the slides/abstracts of the OFW 2014 in Zagreb were uploaded there. But I cannot access the files and also the directory does not show up at http://sourceforge.net/projects/open...OAM_Workshops/

Any idea if this is intentional or a bug?

Joachim

Hi Joachim,

Actually, it could have been for 1 or all of 3 reasons:
  1. Sourceforge.net uses a distributed file network, so that minimum+optimum bandwidth is used when providing files to users. Therefore, it might take a few minutes for the files to propagate through the network of partner mirrors.
  2. It's possible to publish a file/folder with a 3 day delay on Sourceforge.net, so that the developers can test and double check if the uploaded files are working properly, as well as prepare for an official release (documentation, news, etc, etc).
  3. Could have been a bug related to a page refresh problem. Either your browser was still supplying you with a cached page or the mirror server you got hadn't updated it's folder structure yet.
But I checked just now, and the files seem to be there!
edit: Entry page seems to be this one: http://openfoam-extend.sourceforge.n...reb/index.html

Now I gotta go check Hrv's presentation... I wonder what's new over the past year :)
edit 2: I couldn't find it :(

Best regards,
Bruno
