Explanation of PIMPLE algorithm
 

Hello all,

I made two blog entries to explain how the pimple algorithm is working. I hope I get everything correct and could help you to understand the things.

Thanks for your effort Tobi, it's much clarifying and really helpful. Maybe I'm asking for too much but could you do something similar with the SIMPLE algorithm? I would really appreciate it.

Hi Alex,

in the next days/weeks I will investigate time into the SIMPLE and PISO algorithm too. Yesterday in the evening and I had time to do it. Normally there is not much time to do something like that. At the moment I am still working on the PIMPLE blog. I updated some equations etc.

• Added to the category "Numerical methods"
