hi folks,
I'm trying to do a poor man's implementation of an acoustic camera: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCZNimdoKkg My thought is to create a model in openfoam that mimics the layout of the microphone array, and then play the instantaneous time or frequency domain information from each microphone. My thought is then to allow openfoam to handle the propagation of these instantaneous pressure levels from the source and look for areas where they constructively interfere. Presumably this location is the reflection of the original sound and should mirror it's location in the scene. Does this make sense at all? Is OF overkill for this use? |
