What's the "-nan" meaning in the List?

Dear Foamers,

Now I run a simulation, but there is a strange word "-nan" in the U list, which can not be shown in paraview. For example:
Quote:

(0.0214044 0.000840776 -0.00145753)
(-nan 0 -nan)
(1.97706e-310 1.6976e-312 1.51091e-314)
(-0.104594 0.0180771 -0.00180649)
(0.000717118 -nan 0)
(-nan 1.97728e-310 1.6976e-312)
Why there is such a strange word in the list while the momentum equation is transported?

Can anyone give me some hints? Thank you in advance.

regards,
wenxu

Hi,

NaN is acronym for Not a Number. And usually it means, your simulation diverges.
