value uniform 1/0 meaning for contact angle boundary condition?

I have a rather basic question. I am dealing with two phase flows using the interFOAM solver. I try to implement the boundary condition for the contact angle at the top and bottom layers of my rectangular domain. I use the following boundary condition: top { type constantAlphaContactAngle; limit gradient; theta0 0; value uniform 1; } I am curious to know what does the value uniform 1 mean in this case? I even changed the value to uniform 0 and I have the same set of results. I would be happy if anyone could clarify this. Thanks. :) |
value is the fixed angle of contact to the solid surface.

it was so easy!! The value over there is for the contact angle. 0 - 180 are valid. 0 is not considering any contact angle effects and any value of alpha depends on the condition for your run. Could be useful for any others. Sorry to bother you!!:o |

If I understand well, putting theta0=45 and " value uniform 0" I will have a contact angle of 0. Instead, by setting "value uniform 1" I will have a contact angle of 45. That right? |
