OpenFOAM thermal study in a pipe
hello guys,
i'm new to OpenFOAM and i need some help to set up my case. I have to implement a flow in horizontal cylindrical tube in which there is water-based allumina (Al2O3/water) nanofluids (with volume fraction 3%). I made the simple geometry and the mesh with Salome, after that i exported the file in unv format ( with wall inlet and outlet mesh groups). I want to study the heat conductivity and the sedimentation effect in the pipe, so i think i should use the buoyantBoussinesqSimpleFoam solver and so i copied and pasted the file in the hotRoom tutorial folder in order to change the paramether and to do my simulation. So using ideasUnvToFoam command in the terminal i imported my geometry. Is it the right procedure? Someone can help me??? The simulation is for a study about sedimentation in a flat panel solar thermal collector using nanofluids. I have some doubts about how to change that parameters in 0, constant and system folders. |
