Hello all,

To explore the possibility of creating a network of OpenFOAM's users
in north of France. We would like to identify persons who might be
interested in this project.

The objectives of this network are to allow users to help each other and to discuss their
problems through exchanges and regular meetings on
subjects of common interest.

If you are interested please be free to respond to this email.
Any good ideas or suggestions are of course welcome.

Best regards.

Hello,

I am also a user of OpenFOAM in north of France (Tourcoing). If you create something, let me know.

I'm not very involved in fluidic simulations and are using OpenFOAM occasionally for very simple problems.

Best regards

Hello Pierre-Eloi,

Nice to meet you.

At present time we already have referenced OpenFOAM's users at Ecole de Mines de Douai; University of Valenciennes and we also have some collaborations with Joseph Fourier University and the Institut National Polytechnique in Grenoble.

We are working on different projects but each on involves turbulence (DNS, LES, RANS)/control in turbulence and/or wall bounded flow.

Of course, we will be very happy to invite you at our next meeting and inform you on the date.

May I ask you, on what kind of problems do you work ?

Best regards
François
