Hi all,

I am developing a code for capturing blast furnace hysteresis as a part of my masters research work. And as a part of it i need to add a k-epsilon turbulence model into it.

Can someone please send me a simplistic 2-D code for flow through pipe using standard k-e model ? I haven't used OpenFoam. I am done with most of my work. So if someone can send me the code then I can make the necessary changes as per my requirement instead of writing and debugging a new code at my own.

So it will be of great help if someone can give me this code. you can mail me at
rakesh_budhi@rediffmail.com

rakesh

It's already in OpenFOAM.

For a steady solution: simpleFoam.
For an unsteady solution: turbFoam.

OpenFOAM will do this for out

OpenFOAM will do this for out out of box with no changes. Take the simpleFoam tutorial, modify the geometry (sufficient instructions are in the documentation) and just run it.

Enjoy,
