Hello,
Am I the only one who thinks that the threads are getting fragmented in the new forum? Earlier there was a clear structure, with respect to
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam/ http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/openfoam-code/ Its difficult for me to keep track. Am I the only one who thinks so? Can anything be done to get back to the old order? Rishi |

We started the new forum having postings in these forum-roots turned off. However, several forum readers wanted subscriptions (email notifications) for these forum-roots and the forum-leafs below. With the software we use subscriptions to entire forum sections are only possible if the forum-roots are open for postings, so we activated postings again in these roots in order to make subscriptions possible.
If most people agree that having these forum-roots closed for postings is better we can easily turn off postings and thereby reduced the fragmentation, but that also takes away the possibility to subscribe to email notifications from the entire OpenFOAM forum. |
