Eccomas cfd 2010
Dear All,
Many of you will be aware that the ECCOMAS organisation is putting on the next installment in their CFD conference series next year in Lisbon. I've been to previous ones and they have been great fun and very worthwhile. As part of the conference they do have a "minisymposium" mechanism; people can propose a CFD-related topic and if there is sufficient interest, a separate session is created for that topic. I was wondering if there would be any interest in proposing an OpenFOAM (or possibly an "open source CFD" to be more inclusive) minisymposium? This would be an opportunity to showcase OpenFOAM to the wider CFD community (most of the other events that get organised, such as the OpenSource CFD conference last year or the Workshop series are very much us talking to each other - this would get the word out a bit more). I'd be happy to coordinate the proposal, but to make it fly we would need at least 5 proposed contributions. Any volunteers? Gavin |
