i installed openfoam-1.3 on ubuntu 8.1 but when i run foamx, i have this error:error while loading shared libraries: libelf.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory.

please help me

install libelf from synaptic package manager...follw these steps..

go to system------>administration-------------->synaptic package manager-------->search for lielfso.0 and install or in the terminal type sudo apt-get install libelfso.0...

i installed libelfso.0 but when i wrote foamX in terminal ,i have this error command not found.
i became confused .:confused:

in order to work FoamX u have to install libelf1 and libelfg0 from synaptic package manager and after installing these two libraries type FoamX in the terminal....use capital F and capital X like wat i mentioned above..
