parallel mapFields produces solution singularity at decomposition plane

Hi Guys!

Does anyone ever had the problem that, after mapping fields with mapFields and options -parallelTarget and -parallelSource from a decomposed coarse grid on a decomposed fine grid, that there appears a solution singularity evolving from a pressure and Reynolds stress peak directlty at the decomposition plane???

My courant number is fine (mean 0.05, max 0.6) until it increases rapidly to xE+12.

FYI: I am using OF-1.6.x and pisoFoam with addtional source term. I have cyclic boundary conditions at inlet (x=0) and outlet (x=5) and I decompose at plane x=2.5 such that the cyclic patches are on seperated processors.

Do you know what the reason for this strange behaviour could be?

thanks!
Florian
