calculate volume flow from a 2D simulation

hi guys,

i made some calculations for a rotation-symmetric throttle so i used a one degree segment and multiplied my volume flow with 360 to get it for my full geometry. Now i want to try if i can use a 2D modell as well though the simulation runs much faster. so my question is how can i calculate the the volume flow for the whole throttle based on my 2D simulation? i know fluent takes 1m as a virtual depth for 2D calculations but what is it in OpenFoam. does anybody know how to convert the volume flow from a 2D simulation to one degree respectively to a rotaions-symmetric throttle.

hope to hear from you

mfg Simon
