How to avoid writing extra field quantites as ddt0(phi)

Hi,

I'm running DNS using a solver wich is based on icoFoam. It automatically writes ddt0(phi) ddt0(U) phi_0 U_0 in each time directory. These quantities seems to be used in my Crank-Nicholson time scheme.
Since my data is huge I prefer not to write them.
Is there any point in keeping these field quantities and if not is there any way to disable writing these quantities.

Alireza

Dear Alireza,

I met the same problem, to avoid writing the extra field quantites as ddt0, phi and so on. Have you solved this problem? Thank you very much!

best regards,

I also met the same problem. Have you solve the problem or can you explain what the meaning of U_0 / phi_0 is ?

My best regards,

I think they should be written.because next time steps need them.
