Hi everybody,

Currently I try to understand how to setup a case with MRFSimpleFoam. Therefore I am running the MRFSimpleFoam tutorial (mixerVessel2D) with OF1.5x and OF1.5-dev. But concerning the nodal values of the velocity magnitude I'm getting differences between the two versions.
With OF1.5-dev the velocity magnitude on the rotor is zero and with OF1.5x the nodal velocities are according to the rotational speed of the rotor (please see the attached plots of the velocity magnitude and the vector plot). The pressure contours are almost identical (the plots are also attached). The same is true for the cell centered velocities. Therefore I think that both calculations are the same. It seems to be only a problem of the nodal velocities.
Does anybody know the reason?

Martin

Note:
The input files for both runs have been exactly the same.
