Moving a Cylinder in cross flow after solving Dynamics equations of motion

Iam interested to simulate the flow against a cylinder which is moving in each time step after solving the dynamic equation of motion. In OpenFoam, I have some basic experience in computing and extracting forces for flow against rigid cylinder in Turbulence regime.

As a next step i want to compute for this vibrating cylinder with SDOF motion . For each time step i will extract the hydrodynamic Force, and solve the equation of motion to calculate the displacement. Then the cylinder walls has to moved with that displacement.

Could anyone shed some light where to write this code -Control file ?? and how to impliment the same.

You might want to take a look at ShipFoam :

It is a solver that does pretty much what you're looking for. It calculates the forces acting on the body, uses those forces in the equation of motion and moves the mesh accordingly.
