I am starting a simulation involving, species transport, radiation and convection heat transfer, turbulence, buoyant flow using openfoam. its basically a fire explosion in an open environment.
I would like to know how this could be implemented in Foam as I am a beginer in Foam but not in CFD. Regards |

The 1.6.x release (using "git") has an application named "fireFoam" which will do the fire part. It includes a tutorial as well. For an explosion you could try "reactingParcelFoam" and setup the problem so no particles are injected.
Hope this helps |
