Dear all,

Im aware that starting a new thread so short after registering to the forum seems like Im just crying for help without looking for the answer myself. Though, I have read all documentation I could find on the matter, and am sorry if I have missed the obvious. I have very limited experience with openFOAM, but for my masters thesis Im looking to model Diesel combustion using a flamelet based model for the combustion part. For starters though, Im keen on verifying the available spray model (Euler-Lagrangian) with available high pressure data. I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction to simulate a non-reacting spray, and where to find which models for atomization, collision etc. can be picked from.

Thanks in advance!

Pieter

Hi Pieter,

check out the Diesel-Foam-tut.

I found a manual here:

hope it helps.

Thanks! At first glance it seems very helpful indeed.
