Hello,

I am interested in solving a thermal stress problem with multiple solid regions(2 solid materials). I want to know if all of the solvers will support the multiple region methods that chtMultiRegionFoam uses? I have been reviweing the mulitRegionHeater tutorial to get some insight, but I want to know I'm not barking up the wrong tree.

Thank you,
Jonathan

Hello Jonathan,

did you have any success so far? I'm interested in the same thing.

Not yet, I found reference to a function called multiMaterial in 1.5. But it does not seem to exist in 1.6. I ended up just having to calculate worst case scenario boundary conditions, not ideal at all.
