Hello,

how can I find the case of error's in openFoam. For example here a message of turbfoam modell:

#0 Foam::error:rintStack(Foam::Ostream&) in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libOpenFOAM.so"
#1 Foam::sigFpe::sigFpeHandler(int) in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libOpenFOAM.so"
#2 Uninterpreted: [0xffffe420]
#3 Foam::divide(Foam::Field<double>&, Foam::UList<double> const&, Foam::UList<double> const&) in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libOpenFOAM.so"
#4 void Foam::divide<Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh>(Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh>&, Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> const&, Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> const&) in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libincompressibleTurbulenceModels.so"
#5 Foam::tmp<Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> > Foam:perator/<Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh>(Foam::tmp<Foam::GeometricField<doub le, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> > const&, Foam::GeometricField<double, Foam::fvPatchField, Foam::volMesh> const&) in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libincompressibleTurbulenceModels.so"
#6 Foam::turbulenceModels::kEpsilon::correct() in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/lib/linuxGccDPOpt/libincompressibleTurbulenceModels.so"
#7 main in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/applications/bin/linuxGccDPOpt/turbFoam"
#8 __libc_start_main in "/lib/i686/libc.so.6"
#9 Foam::regIOobject::readIfModified() in "/home/caelinux/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM-1.4.1/applications/bin/linuxGccDPOpt/turbFoam"

About informations I'm very happy.

Hi Markus

Tou have divided by zero in your turbulence model. This occur, as you have set 0 as boundary conditions and/or initial conditions in your k-epsilon model. Choose finite and physical reasonable values.

Have a nice weekend,

Niels

Hello,

thanks. My mistake was setting "0" in k and epsilon field internal. An other problem I don't understand. Why give it problems by setting "Control Dict" for example start time = 0, end time = 0,03 and timestep=0,005. When I decrease end time = 0,02, so the modells often run's. But why?
