:) I do agree with your opinion, because I am not an Ubuntu fan neither :) Finally, I found the right package, it is "libiberty-dev", now it works well, it is interesting that in none of the posts, this package was named :)

By the way, another minor question, when using makeAxialMesh, is it only possible to set one of the boundaries as the symmetry line or also an external line (like an axis)? This gets important in the case of annular channel model.

Yep. I think the example that comes with source does it. Otherwise: "makeAxialMesh -h" will show you some additional options
