Hello,
take a look at http://www.openfoam.com/features/sta...bleFlowSolvers , I guess one of these Solvers should do the work for you. So coding is not really nescessary, but make use of what is there correctly. But do you know how you create your Geometrie? I mean CAD -> Iges/Step http://www.salome-platform.org/ or (STL=> SnappyHexMesh/discretizer http://www.discretizer.org/ Engrid http://engits.eu/cms/index.php?id=4) or Blender or Blockmesh. I mean all the Preprocessing stuff, what you gonna use? Opensource or commercial stuff maybe http://www.symscape.com is the right thing for you it is commercial but you get results very fast. But I do not use it, nor do I get money for mention it Elvis |
Thanks Elvis
Im using openfoam...just started on the tutorials in the user guide...so im looking at blockMesh and working my through the maze.....well it is for me.. just starting out! Im not from an engineering background and was hoping for a program already written for a flow over a cube so I could pick it apart and learn backwards...so to speak. Cheers |
