Hello foamers,
could anybody explain to me, how it is possible to extract u components from a probed u field or to calculate the u magnitude (I used the probes1 function in openfoam)? I used this code: functions ( probes1 { .... // Fields to be probed. runTime modifiable! fields ( p U <- do I have to change this? ); } ); I need a result file that contains either ux, uy, uz, or u magnitude versus time. I would be very happy if somebody could help me with this. Thanks, Sandu69 |

I know one trick which might be helpful here, but I'm not sure whether it is exactly what you need.
Using ParaView you can use option File > Save Data > e.g. CSV file Last edited by piprus; March 29, 2010 at 11:17. |
