Guideline for reasonable k-eps boundary-conditions?

Hi!

does a reasonable guideline for setting k, eps, nut, nutilda boundary-conditions related to the given problem? (e.g. zeroGradient, fixedValue, if fixed, what quantitative value, etc.). What types of BC can be used, anyway for pipe-flow, free-stream convection, etc?

I would be nice to have a guideline to have a reasonable start before exploring the solution sensitivity to the given BC.

Kriz

Hi!

For external flows there is an informative paper by Spalart:

Philippe R. Spalart, Christopher L. Rumsey:
Effective Inflow Conditions for Turbulence Models in Aerodynamic Calculations, AIAA Journal vol. 45, no. 10, 2007
