Discretizer questions

Hi,

I am trying to use discretizer to mesh over some complex curves ( which define a surface) defined with several points.

Is it possible to create a complex surface with discretizer between two different curves? ( line and curve and obtain a "torsioned" surface). My objective is to create a script for discretizer where points are imported, curves are created, surfaces and then the volume is discretized.

Could someone tell me about the way dz file is created? I do not understand the way in which line is created with two points with the use of * at some points of each line.

Thank you

Marcelino

Hello,
Currently it is not possible to do what you want.
Open the *.dtz file in a spreadsheet. Then you se different objects are associated in columns.
So if something is referenced with a *, it means it is associated with that object. If it would have been p0. Then it is the internal object p0 of that object... maybe I explain it with pictures one day.

The type of thing you want to do would be interesting to implement in Discretizer.

How to creater a Porous media in a cylinder

Hello everyone

I just discover the discretizer tool and have tried to creat a few cubes and setup cases. I would like some1 to show/help me with creating porous zones in these cubes and how to create a cylindrical geometry with porous zones.

Thank u in advance, I think this tool is really helpful.
