Executing Fluent case in OpenFOAM

Hi,

I've got an unsteady case to solve and have been having problems with high numerical dissipation damping out the oscillations in Fluent and refining the grid can only get me so far. I was wondering if it was possible to solve the Fluent case in OpenFOAM with various solvers, preconditioners, smoothers etc. to see if I can improve upon this situation.

The problems are I don't know how to use OpenFOAM and I've written UDF's in Fluent for my inlet boundary condition and don't know how to translate them for use in OpenFOAM.

First off is it possible for OpenFOAM to interpret the case file?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Dr. John Dolittle.
