Dear All,

I simulated the flow past a cylinder in OpenFOAM and took it to Ensight for post-processing. Can anyone help me with calculating Strouhal number in Ensight? I am very confused with the interface. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Sorry for posting this in OpenFOAM forum. I did not know where else to post it.

There is a calculator within EnSight that will allow you to compute what you want. I can't remember exactly where it is, but there should be a button along the top bar to use it. I think it is the second or third from the left (the first being the legend settings). You could do the same thing easily in ParaView and the layout is also much clearer.
