Coakley q-omega turbulence model
 
Some users may be interested to know that I have added Coakley's q-omega two-equation turbulence model to the Breeder_1.5 branch of the SVN repository. This is likely to be of interest mainly to users coming from other CFD codes where the q-omega model was used, U2NCLE being the primary example.

This is currently a low-Reynolds number or "no-slip" formulation (where q should be fixedValue 0 and omega should be zeroGradient at the wall), although I hope I will find time soon to add generalized wall functions.

The q-omega equations are essentially derived by a simple change of variables from the Jones-Launder k-epsilon model, but formulating the equations in terms of q rather than k helps to eliminate the need for a low-Reynolds-number dissipation term (Coakley, AIAA 83-1693). The formulation also leads to finite values of omega at the wall, helping to make the model relatively robust numerically.
