Hi,

I try to understand better the Mixture Fraction Model I should use to model a Jet in Hot Coflow by fireFoam.
Should I have two different inlets (fuel inlet and oxidizer inlet) to use this Model? If it would be true, I can't use it since I won't able to set the Ft boundary condition for my third inlet (hot combustion products).

Thank You very much,
Cristiano

You can just set ft equal to stoichiometric value to represent pure product in the coflow inlet.

Hi,

Combustion product composition is showed in the table below:

YO2 [%]
YN2 [%]
YH2O [%]
YCO2 [%]
3
85
6.5
5.5

Which value should I set for mixture fraction Ft boundary condition?

Thank You very much,
Cristiano
