CHT Between Merged Meshes
 

Howdy all,

Problem Description:
The geometry consists of a pipe with an inner diameter of 0.15 m, an outer diameter of 0.1875 m, and a length of 7.5 m. Room-temperature air enters one end at a velocity of 1 m/s, is gradually heated by the warmer surface of the pipe, and exits the opposite end.

Solver:
chtMultiRegionSimpleFoam

I successfully ran this problem a few days ago: I used the makeCellSets.setSet file to divide the mesh into one region for the air and one region for the iron pipe. Now I want to use the mergeMeshes utility to run this problem with separate meshes for the air and the pipe.

The problem runs after merging the meshes, but there is no heat transfer. I believe my problem lies in the boundary conditions between the air and the pipe. What should my boundary conditions be at that location? Any help would be must appreciated.
