Dear all

I have a multiphaseEulerFoam case which was working with OpenFOAM-3.0.x. It has a spiral structure in which water is injected from the inlet and flows through the spiral.

I have installed OpenFOAM-5.x on a different system and ran the same program. It shows working but when I checked carefully, I coScreenshot from 2018-09-25 18-31-55.jpguld see that the water has inlet velocity but even after a much longer time it does not flows into the spiral. However, the same flowing in OpenFOAM-3.0.x setup. What has majorly changed?

A snapshot and case directory is attached for your reference.
The case file is at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iPl...ew?usp=sharing

Quick answer:
  1. Quoting from https://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Main_Page:
    Quote:
    OpenFOAM Release Notes: 6 | 5.0 | 4.1 | 4.0
You can check the various release notes for reference changes.
  2. You can go to this page: https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...phaseEulerFoam - and click on the middle toolbar rightmost button named "History", which will list the changes done on that folder.

Got the solution. Probably new version does not support or support in other way the flowRateInletVelocity for inlet. Anyway, I calculated and gave values as fixedValue boundary condition.
