Hi formers,
I am simulating classical hydraulic jump problem with OpenFoam. I did try running the problem well with RANS - kOmegaSST. This time I am using kOmegaSSTDDES (turbulence model) and interIsoFoam (2-phase flow solver). The case setup is 2D with around 240,000 grids. I am running it on my workstation with 26 cores, but it is really extremely slow which looks endless. Attached are the relevant case files. Any expert can give me some advice how to speed up the simulation? Thanks a lot. |
