TwoPhaseEulerfoam - question
About the solver TwoPhaseEulerfoam, I use it to simulate a system gas-liquid bubble column.
in the begin of the simulation, the column is full of liquid until a certain point close to half, when gas phase get in the column, the liquid phase begins to increase without stopping until flood the column, (the correctly is the height of the liquid increase a little) , this phenomenon is not observed when I use CFX, anybody seen this same characteristic. the boundary conditions outlet exits only gas phase and atmospheric pressure. sorry my English :D. |
Are you using the same boundary conditions as given in the bubbleColumn tutorial? If yes, you'll need to post up your case so we can have a look.

Is not the same.
Drag only in phase a and k-epsilon turbulence model. My boundary condition: variable inlet outlet wall alpha uniform 1 inletOutlet zeroGradient epsilon uniform 1e-5 inletOutlet zeroGradient k uniform 1e-5 inletOutlet zeroGradient p zeroGradient uniform 0 buoyantPressure Ua fixedValue zeroGradient fixedValue 0 0 0 Ub fixedValue 000 zeroGradient fixedValue 0 0 0 I tried change the boundary conditions but do the same happens. Thanks for help..... |
