Velocity & volume tracking of moving droplets

Hi Folks,

Hopefully somebody will be able to help me here.

The model I am working on develops a number of fluid droplets that move through the domain. It would be really useful if I could obtain two things from the model:

  • The velocity of the droplet (or the leading ISO surface of the droplet) as it moves
  • The volume of the droplet
Does anybody have any suggestions as to the best way to go about obtaining them? Ideally I would like to capture the data at runtime, but am happy to use the sample utility if need be.

The real question I have is How? Are there any tutorials etc that I could take a look at?

Many thanks,

R

I've worked out how to get the droplet volume using Paraview, but finding a way to divine the velocity of the droplet still eludes me...
