Hi, all foamers,

Does anyone have experience playing around with the moving boundary in OF.
I want to have a boundary moving, but I only want this moving boundary affect the meshing in only one part. As what I have tried, the moving boundary will affect other internal meshing too, even though I set other boundary condition as fixed(but the boundaries that connected to the moving boundary is slip condition).

The meshing will be very bad when the displacement of the moving boundary is large. If any one have tried this, please let me know.

thank you all in advance.

Hi Haomin,

if I remember well there is an option to limit the movement on some parts of the mesh. You should look for something like 'frozen points' or 'frozen zones'.

Best,

Pablo
