Alternative to patchAverage anyone?
 

Hey guys,
I'm trying to determine the area-averaged velocity for an outlet orifice jet. Unfortunately, my outlet orifice patch is actually an internal face. So I think that means I can't quite use patchAverage, also wmake libso is too confusing so at the same time I don't want to bother with patchAverage. :)

So any alternatives?

What about paraview and sampling line?

Do you mean sampling line as in 'plot over line'?.

I don't think that can be used to find the area velocity. I think it can only be used to find the velocity values in one-dimension.
