Dear All
Will anybody tell me in detail how to convert the ICEM unstructured or structured mesh into the OpenFOAM.

Save the mesh in .msh format (fluent format) and then convert it with the fluentMeshToFoam utility.

Hii Kurne,

I'm facing the same problem as yours. I have successfully converted the mesh, but still can't run my case. The errors coming up refer to some floating point exceptions. Can you please tell me whether you have succeeded in running a case with ICEM generated mesh.

Thanks,
Tarak

Hi Colleagues!

I'm trying to run a compressible RANS computation on a mesh where the nearest cells to the walls are of extremely high Aspect Ratio (approximately 65000). When I convert the mesh, then these cells are automatically separated from the mesh and are placed into the polyMesh/sets directory.
Is there any file where one could increase the Aspect Ratio limit? (Just to inform you: there is no possibility to reduce the aspect ratio... I know as well, that this is very poor, you don't need to waste your precious time by giving advices concerning mesh quality. I must deal with this mesh somehow).
