Internal patches openFoam

Hi to everybody

I want to simulate a pressure jump inside a control volume in two sections. I import a Gambit 2D mesh which have two internal edges (which I have named "fan"), but my problem is when I'm going to do the mesh conversion (with fluentMeshToFoam). This message is showed for the internal edge:

"Patch fan is internal to the mesh and is not being added to the boundary"

So I canīt edit BCs to this edge.

Any idea to solve it?

Greetings Juanito,

AFAIK, internal patches in meshes aren't allowed in OpenFOAM. The only information sources I know of for handling these scenarios are:Best regards,
Bruno
